Wicanders Cork Go Floating Plank - Originals Dawn 12"x36"

Wicanders Cork GO Originals Dawn — 12" x 36" Light Cork Flooring

Wicanders Cork GO Originals Dawn is one of the lightest floating cork floors in the Cork GO collection, a soft neutral that brightens a room while keeping cork's natural texture front and center.

Best for: Scandinavian lofts, small or north-facing rooms and bright, airy bedrooms.

The Look

Named for early-morning light, Originals Dawn is a soft, gentle neutral. Even at this light tone the cork texture stays visible, so the floor feels natural rather than flat. Our photo shows it in a Scandinavian-style loft living room.

Why Choose Originals Dawn?

• Among the lightest tones in Cork GO
• Lifts dim rooms and sits comfortably with white walls
• Real cork texture instead of a flat print
• Comfortable barefoot surface
• Indoor air credentials: Wicanders lists GREENGUARD Gold for the range

Installation

Originals Dawn goes in the same way as every Cork GO color: click the joints together and let the floor float. Keep cartons sealed until installation day and let them acclimate in the room for 48 hours or longer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a light cork floor fade? Cork can age under strong direct sunlight, which affects light and dark colors alike. Screening windows with blinds or curtains helps keep the color even.

What wall colors go with Originals Dawn? Soft whites and pale blush tones keep the room bright, while white or light wood cabinetry and white marble-look counters complete a Scandinavian or coastal scheme.

Does Originals Dawn come in a waterproof version? Not in Cork GO, which is moisture-resistant. For waterproof cork, see the Wicanders Wise collection.

Is Originals Dawn good for indoor air quality? Wicanders lists GREENGUARD Gold, French A+ and M1 emission ratings among the Cork GO range certifications.
