Is Confection real hardwood? Yes. It's engineered hardwood: a real white oak surface over a stable layered core, 1/2" thick.

How wide are the planks? 7.48" (sold as 7.5"), in random lengths.

Is it waterproof? No. Like all real hardwood it isn't waterproof, so wipe up spills promptly and avoid full bathrooms and other wet areas.

Can it go in a basement or over radiant heat? Yes. It's approved above, on or below grade and for radiant heat, and can be glued down or floated over a properly prepared slab.

How many cartons do I need? Each carton covers 31.08 sq ft. Multiply your room's square footage by 1.08 to add 8% overage, then divide by 31.08 and round up. For example, a 500 sq ft room needs 18 cartons.
