Philadelphia Commercial Adrenaline 5mm 12 ft Cushioned Performance Artificial Turf

Philadelphia Commercial Adrenaline 5mm (style #54712) is a 12 ft wide commercial artificial turf with a 5mm cushioned construction, built for athletic and fitness floors and made in the USA from 100% UV nylon. It is the padded counterpart to Adrenaline Unitary, so a facility can pick extra give underfoot or a firmer feel while keeping one shade of green. Nylon is the fiber of choice here because it springs back well under repeated footwork and training drills, and the single Green colorway keeps ordering straightforward on multi-room fitness projects.

Best for: Gyms and strength-and-conditioning rooms, boutique fitness studios, athletic training centers, indoor agility lanes and recreation centers.

Colors

• Green 00300: a deep, olive-leaning green, darker than a fresh lawn, that reads as a classic training-field color under gym lighting.

Why Choose Adrenaline 5mm

• 5mm cushioned version adds comfort for floor work, stretching and drills
• 100% UV nylon face fiber chosen for resilience in active spaces
• American-made by Shaw's Philadelphia Commercial division
• 12 ft rolls cover training lanes and studio floors with fewer seams
• Same Green 00300 as Adrenaline Unitary, so cushioned and firm zones match

Installation

Philadelphia Commercial does not publish approved installation methods for Adrenaline 5mm on its style page, so treat this as typical practice, not a specification. Padded sports turf is normally laid in full 12 ft drops with seams running the length of a lane, then secured with adhesive or around the perimeter depending on the substrate and how hard the surface will be worked. Confirm the method on the Adrenaline 5mm spec sheet with your installer before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Adrenaline 5mm turf good for a gym or fitness studio? It is aimed squarely at that use. Philadelphia Commercial Adrenaline 5mm combines a 100% UV nylon grass-look face with a 5mm cushioned construction for training areas, fitness studios and indoor recreation rooms.

What is the difference between Adrenaline 5mm and Adrenaline Unitary? Both come in Green 00300, in 12 ft widths, with UV nylon fiber. Adrenaline 5mm adds a 5mm cushion for comfort underfoot, while Adrenaline Unitary uses a unitary backing for a firmer, uncushioned surface.

Why choose nylon artificial turf instead of polypropylene? Nylon fiber recovers well after being crushed, which is why Philadelphia Commercial uses 100% UV nylon in Adrenaline 5mm for hard-working training floors. Polypropylene turfs are more often picked for decorative landscape and patio areas.

Is Adrenaline 5mm artificial turf made in the USA? Yes. Philadelphia Commercial lists Adrenaline 5mm #54712 as made in the USA.

How is Adrenaline 5mm sold? Adrenaline 5mm comes off 12 ft wide rolls. Quotes are project-based and orders start at 250 square feet; phone 1-888-976-8166 or request a free sample of the Green colorway first.

Specifier Tips

Plan training lanes around the 12 ft roll width so seams land at lane edges rather than down the middle of a sprint path. Put Adrenaline 5mm where athletes kneel, stretch and do mat-style floor work, and consider Adrenaline Unitary for zones that need a firmer surface; since both are Green 00300, the change in construction will not show. Border free-weight areas with rubber flooring and use a transition strip where the turf meets it.
