Philadelphia Commercial Be Real 12 ft Loop Commercial Broadloom Carpet

Philadelphia Commercial Be Real (style #54809) is a loop-construction commercial broadloom carpet sold in 12 ft widths, woven domestically in Eco Solution Q nylon and set on a performance backing meant for heavy foot traffic. It is the quieter, more solid-reading member of the Be family, sharing its colors with the patterned Be Present and Be Open, so a designer can put pattern where it adds interest and Be Real everywhere else. Its ten colors run from light tan to near-charcoal and rust.

Best for: Private offices, high-traffic corridors, classrooms, call centers, healthcare offices and back-of-house administrative areas.

Why Choose Be Real 12 ft

• Loop construction for a tight, durable surface
• Shares 10 colors with the patterned Be Present and Be Open
• 100% Eco Solution Q nylon on performance backing
• U.S.-made by Philadelphia Commercial
• Mostly mid and dark colors that hide traffic soil

Installation

Be Real is a 12 ft broadloom. Loop carpets can show a seam if it is placed across a main walkway, so orient seams along the traffic direction and away from doorways. Where Be Real meets a patterned Be style, finish the transition at a door or wall line. Approved methods and adhesives for Be Real are listed on its spec sheet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Be Real a loop pile carpet? Yes. Philadelphia Commercial Be Real is a loop broadloom in 100% Eco Solution Q nylon, and it shares its colors with the patterned Be Present and Be Open styles.

Is Be Real good for heavy-traffic office corridors? Be Real is a loop broadloom on a performance backing intended for offices, corridors and spaces that see heavy foot traffic, and its darker colors such as Honor and Wisdom help hide soil.

Should I use Be Real or a patterned carpet in a corridor? A patterned style such as Be Present or Be Open hides soil and seams more readily, while Be Real gives a calmer, near-solid loop surface. Many projects pattern the corridor and use Be Real in rooms, or the reverse.

What colors does Be Real come in? Be Real #54809 comes in 10 colors: Spirit, Truth, Honor, Power, Courage, Wisdom, Purpose, Strength, Self and Faith.

Specifier Tips

Use Be Real in Honor or Wisdom where rolling chairs and carts concentrate, such as call centers and copy rooms, and switch to Be Present in the same color in corridors for added pattern. Purpose suits small private offices with good daylight. Faith, the rust brown, brings warmth to a reception area without leaving the Be palette.
