Philadelphia Commercial Beacon II 12 ft Tailored Indoor/Outdoor Broadloom Carpet

Philadelphia Commercial Beacon II (style #54692) is a tailored, low-key commercial indoor/outdoor broadloom carpet in 12 ft rolls, produced in the USA using 100% high-UV polypropylene so its color stays put in sunny, exposed locations. It is a compact five-color line built around deep, grounded tones: a teal-navy, a charcoal and three warm browns. That restraint makes Beacon II easy to pair with outdoor furniture fabrics and stone. Where a project wants a carpeted feel outdoors without a busy pattern, this style fits.

Best for: Patios and porches, sunrooms and enclosed lanais, pool surrounds, covered entries, and clubhouse or resort terraces.

Colors

• Deep River 00400: a dark teal-navy, the one cool color in the line, suited to waterfront and pool settings.
• Pewter Black 00500: a soft charcoal-black with a faint green-gray cast.
• Taos 00700: a warm terracotta-brown that recalls adobe and clay tile.
• Bittersweet 00701: a muted cocoa-taupe, quieter than Taos.
• Stone Walls 00702: a dark, earthy brown like weathered fieldstone.

Three warm browns, one charcoal and one blue make up the palette. Request free samples to see them beside your furniture and pavers.

Installation

The Beacon II style page does not specify approved installation methods. Indoor/outdoor broadloom like this is usually adhered over its full area on concrete or another suitable exterior surface, using an adhesive intended for outdoor exposure; in an enclosed sunroom, standard commercial glue-down practice applies. Confirm everything against the Beacon II spec sheet.

Specifier Tips

At a resort or club, Taos warms up a terrace of stone and stucco, while Deep River works by a pool or lake. Use Stone Walls or Pewter Black where the carpet meets a lawn or garden path and tracked soil is constant. Keep furniture glides on chairs to reduce wear marks on the textured surface.
