Philadelphia Commercial Succession II TL 24x24 Indoor/Outdoor Commercial Carpet Tile

Philadelphia Commercial Succession II TL (style #54695) is a square, 24" x 24" commercial carpet tile for indoor/outdoor use, produced in America in 100% high-UV polypropylene for sun-exposed areas. It is the modular partner of the Succession II 12 ft broadloom and shares its ten color names, so designers can switch between roll goods and tiles in one palette. The square format is approved for quarter turn installation, and individual tiles can be swapped out as needed, which suits exterior areas where one corner takes more wear than the rest.

Best for: Patios, covered walkways, pool decks, building entries, outdoor break areas at offices and campuses, and exposed balconies at multifamily properties.

Colors

• Hammered 00200: a golden caramel brown with a burnished, metallic warmth.
• Crushed Olive 00300: a muted dark olive, slightly lighter than the broadloom version.
• Laguna Bay 00400: a deep blue-slate that suits poolside settings.
• After Dark 00500: a dark charcoal with a faint plum note.
• Tarmac 00501: a deep brown-charcoal, like weathered asphalt.
• Glazed Pot 00600: a terracotta red, like a fired clay planter.
• Sierra Sand 00700: a soft mid taupe, the calmest neutral of the ten.
• French Roast 00701: a rich dark brown, like brewed coffee.
• Wood Smoke 00702: a smoky near-black brown.
• Dark Earth 00703: a reddish mid-dark brown, warmer and lighter than its broadloom namesake.

Our sampled tile colors run slightly different from the broadloom in a few shades (After Dark, Tarmac and Dark Earth), so if you plan to combine formats, request samples of both and compare them together.

Why Choose Succession II TL 24x24

• 24x24 carpet tile for indoor/outdoor use
• 100% high-UV polypropylene fiber
• Individual tiles can be replaced instead of a whole area
• Same ten color names as Succession II broadloom
• Approved for quarter turn installation
• Domestic manufacture and a Shaw warranty document on file

Installation Methods

Succession II TL is approved for quarter turn installation, the only method listed on the style page. In a quarter turn layout, each tile is rotated 90 degrees from its neighbors, creating a subtle checkerboard of texture direction that hides seams and makes it easier to replace single tiles without a visible patch. Follow the Succession II TL spec sheet for adhesive and surface preparation on exterior substrates.

Frequently Asked Questions

What installation method does Succession II TL use? Only one method appears on the Succession II TL style page: quarter turn, in which every second tile is rotated so pile direction alternates across the floor.

Why use carpet tile outdoors instead of broadloom? With an outdoor carpet tile like Succession II TL, a stained or worn tile at a busy entry or pool gate can be replaced without redoing the whole area. Broadloom gives a continuous field with fewer seams.

Does Succession II TL match Succession II broadloom? Yes. Succession II TL shares its ten color names with Succession II broadloom, so you can combine tiles and 12 ft roll goods in one project. Compare physical samples, since a few tile shades may differ slightly.

Is Succession II TL made in the USA? Yes. Succession II TL #54695 is made in the USA by Philadelphia Commercial.

Does Succession II TL have a warranty? Shaw publishes a warranty document for Succession II TL, linked in the specs below. Review it for terms before specifying.

What is the minimum order for Succession II TL carpet tile? Succession II TL pricing is by quote only, and you will need to order 250 sq ft or more. Phone 1-888-976-8166 and tell us the patio or walkway area.

Specifier Tips

Order a few extra cartons of Succession II TL for attic stock, especially in the colors used at gates and doors, so replacement tiles come from the same production lot. Glazed Pot works as an inset rug zone within a field of Sierra Sand, and Laguna Bay is a natural choice beside a pool. Use the tiles for the busy edges and Succession II broadloom for the open center if you want both formats.
