Philadelphia Commercial Succession II 12 ft Indoor/Outdoor Commercial Broadloom Carpet

Philadelphia Commercial Succession II (style #54694) is a 12 ft indoor/outdoor commercial broadloom carpet in 100% high-UV polypropylene, made to stand up to sunlight and moisture where standard interior carpet would fade or break down. Its palette runs to ten colors, ranging from caramel and terracotta to slate blue and near-black, and it has a modular twin: Succession II TL is a 24x24 carpet tile in the same color names. Philadelphia Commercial lists the broadloom as made in the USA.

Best for: Pool decks, resort patios, covered porches, stadium and arena concourses near open air, building entries and outdoor dining terraces.

Colors

• Hammered 00200: a warm caramel-bronze brown, one of the lighter, more golden choices.
• Crushed Olive 00300: a dark olive-gray that reads almost charcoal in shade.
• Laguna Bay 00400: a deep slate blue, the only blue in the line.
• After Dark 00500: a near-black charcoal with a neutral cast.
• Tarmac 00501: blacktop dark, a hair warmer than After Dark.
• Glazed Pot 00600: a rusty terracotta red, the boldest color offered.
• Sierra Sand 00700: a mid sandy taupe, the most neutral light option.
• French Roast 00701: a dark coffee brown with soft warmth.
• Wood Smoke 00702: a very dark brown-gray, like charred timber.
• Dark Earth 00703: a deep brown-black with a faint red undertone.

Ten colors split into light warm neutrals (Hammered, Sierra Sand), accent hues (Glazed Pot, Laguna Bay, Crushed Olive) and a run of very dark browns and charcoals. Free samples help narrow the dark group, where several colors are close.

Installation

Succession II is made as 12 ft broadloom. Use it for large, open exterior areas where a continuous field is wanted, and keep seams parallel to the main traffic direction. In areas where sections may need replacement, the carpet tile version is an alternative. The style page names no installation methods, so rely on the Succession II spec sheet for adhesive and substrate guidance.

Specifier Tips

Use a dark color such as Tarmac or French Roast on main paths and around bars, and save Glazed Pot or Laguna Bay for defined zones such as a lounge area or a pool cabana row. Where a broadloom pool deck meets a busy entry, switch to Succession II TL in the same color at the door so the most worn section can be replaced tile by tile.
