Philadelphia Commercial Folium TL 18x36 Botanical Leaf-Pattern Commercial Carpet Tile

Philadelphia Commercial Folium TL (style #55009) is an 18" x 36" commercial carpet tile defined by a medium-scale botanical pattern that captures the look of lush foliage. Made in the USA, it is meant to bring the outdoors inside and create a calm, restorative atmosphere, a core goal of biophilic design. Folium TL is designed to pair with the plaid-textured Terrena TL, so a project can use leaves in feature areas and a quieter plaid elsewhere. Its nine colors are soft, grounded neutrals with sage and slate notes rather than literal greens.

Best for: Wellness rooms, healthcare waiting areas, senior living, hotels and resorts, biophilic offices and quiet rooms in schools.

• Haven 00130: a soft stone-taupe with gentle warmth.

Installation Methods

Folium TL may be installed in Stagger, Ashlar, Monolithic, Brick, Herringbone, Boxed In, Half Basketweave or Basketweave layouts. Monolithic lets the foliage flow as one continuous canopy, the most natural look for a botanical design; Ashlar or Stagger loosens the repeat for a more organic feel. Geometric layouts like Herringbone add structure and are best kept to small feature areas. Installation requirements for Folium TL are in its spec sheet.
