Philadelphia Commercial Terrena TL 18x36 Plaid-Texture Commercial Carpet Tile

Philadelphia Commercial Terrena TL (style #55010) is a plaid-textured commercial carpet tile sized 18" x 36", with a quiet, crosshatched look that Shaw positions as the companion to the botanical Folium TL. The plaid reads as texture rather than a bold check, so Terrena TL can stand alone as a refined field tile or frame Folium TL feature areas. Both styles use the same nine color names. The face is 100% EcoSolution Q100 nylon, Philadelphia Commercial produces it in the USA, and the plank shape is approved for eight installation methods.

Best for: Executive and private offices, law and financial firms, hotel administrative areas, boardrooms, senior living common rooms and quiet corridors.

• Haven 00130: warm mid greige with a soft, sandy balance.
• Habitat 00220: mushroom taupe, a touch deeper and browner than Haven.
• Retreat 00300: pale stone with a faint sage undertone.
• Hideaway 00310: deep gray-green, like shaded evergreen.
• Alcove 00400: cool blue-charcoal for a tailored look.
• Sanctuary 00500: soft warm gray that works with almost any finish.
• Dwelling 00510: taupe-gray in a deeper middle value.
• Refuge 00530: dark charcoal with a slight warm cast.

Why Choose Terrena TL 18x36

• Understated plaid-like texture that reads elegant rather than busy
• Designed as the companion field tile to the botanical Folium TL
• Same 18" x 36" size and same nine color names as Folium TL
• Eight approved installation methods
• EcoSolution Q100 nylon (100%), made in the USA

Installation Methods

Terrena TL accepts Monolithic, Ashlar, Brick, Stagger, Herringbone, Basketweave, Half Basketweave and Boxed In installation. A monolithic layout keeps the plaid lines aligned for the most tailored, suit-fabric look, while Ashlar or Stagger loosens the grid for a more relaxed feel. Basketweave and Herringbone suit smaller rooms like private offices where a woven pattern adds character. When combining with Folium TL, choose one method for both so the plank joints line up at the transition.

Specifier Tips

Lay Terrena TL in Sanctuary or Haven across open areas and bring Folium TL in the same color name into reception, lounges or a central collaboration space, so the botanical pattern feels like a feature set into a calm plaid ground. Hideaway and Alcove are the most distinctive colors and work well in boardrooms. Use a monolithic install in long corridors so the plaid lines run straight down the hall.
