Philadelphia Commercial Sort 24x24 Textured Layered Commercial Carpet Tile

Philadelphia Commercial Sort (style #54919) is a 24x24-inch commercial carpet tile offering a textured, layered look that adds subtle movement to busy work spaces. It is produced in the USA from 100% Pivotal® PET fiber over a performance backing, and Shaw publishes a sustainability document for the style. Sort pairs with Stack, which uses the same six color names, and its palette is unusually green-leaning for office carpet: sage, moss, olive-khaki and a near-black with a green cast. Five approved installations include Quarter Turn and Random.

Best for: Offices, K-12 and higher education, nonprofit headquarters, libraries and sustainability-focused workplaces.

Colors

• Twist 00210: olive-khaki gray, warm and natural.
• Bunch 00400: near-black with a deep green cast.
• Pleat 00500: soft sage-gray, the lightest cool option.
• Bind 00510: dark moss-charcoal.
• Fold 00700: warm khaki greige, the lightest warm color.
• Wrap 00706: dark olive-brown.

Sort's six colors share an earthy, slightly green undertone. Free samples are available for each.

Why Choose Sort 24x24

• Textured, layered look that adds movement without busy contrast
• 100% Pivotal® PET fiber with a performance backing
• Companion style Stack uses the same color names
• Five layouts including Quarter Turn and Random
• Made in the USA, with a published sustainability document

Installation Methods

Sort is approved for Quarter Turn, Random, Monolithic, Ashlar and Brick installation. A textured tile like Sort hides seams well in Random or Quarter Turn, which also make spot replacement easier. Monolithic gives a more uniform field that reads like broadloom, and Ashlar or Brick offsets suit long rooms. For adhesive and substrate guidance, open the Shaw spec sheet for Sort.

Specifier Tips

Sort and Stack make an easy two-pattern scheme: Sort in Pleat for open office and Stack in Pleat for corridors, with Bunch or Bind at entries. The green-leaning palette pairs well with natural oak, plants and moss walls. If your project tracks material documentation, download Sort's sustainability file from the spec list before submittals.
