Shaw Grandeur Picket Gloss Mosaic Porcelain Tile

Shaw Grandeur Picket Gloss (style 423TS) is a glossy glazed porcelain mosaic of elongated picket shapes, with pointed ends like fence pickets, on 11.18" x 12.52" sheets in four colors. The picket is the most linear shape in the Grandeur family, so it adds pattern while still feeling tailored, and the gloss finish gives it a glazed-ceramic sparkle that suits kitchens with handmade or vintage touches. Picket Gloss comes in White, Warm Grey, Taupe and Carbon, a more neutral palette than the lantern shape offers. It is impervious porcelain with a frost-resistant rating.

Best for: Kitchen backsplashes, coffee bars, shower accent walls, vanity backsplashes and outdoor kitchen accents.

Colors

• White 00100: bright, glossy white pickets for a crisp kitchen backsplash.
• Warm Grey 00500: a shiny warm gray that works with both stainless and brass.
• Taupe 00550: a glossy gray-brown picket with an earthy, handmade feel.
• Carbon 00950: deep charcoal gloss that turns a coffee bar into a feature.

Why Choose Grandeur Picket Gloss

• Pointed picket shape that looks linear and tailored
• Gloss glaze that reflects light across a backsplash
• 11.18" x 12.52" sheets, 9.69 sq ft per box
• Water absorption of 0.50% or less
• Break strength of 275 lbf or more
• Frost resistant

Where to Install

Grandeur Picket Gloss is an accent tile meant for walls and feature areas: the backsplash between counters and upper cabinets, the wall behind a coffee or wet bar, a shower accent panel, or the space above a bathroom vanity. Being frost resistant, it also suits a covered outdoor kitchen backsplash.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is picket tile? Picket tile is a long, narrow mosaic shape with pointed ends, similar to a fence picket. Shaw Grandeur Picket Gloss 423TS arranges these pieces on sheets with a glossy glaze.

Is picket tile a good kitchen backsplash? Yes. Grandeur Picket Gloss is an accent tile made for backsplashes and walls, and its gloss glaze wipes clean of cooking splatter easily.

Picket gloss or picket matte: which should I pick? Grandeur Picket Gloss reflects light and looks more like glazed ceramic, while Grandeur Picket Matte has a soft, low-sheen surface. Both share the same sheet size and four colors.

What grout should I use with Taupe picket tile? For Grandeur Picket Gloss in Taupe, a warm gray or beige grout keeps the shape soft, while a white grout highlights the point of each picket for a more graphic look.
