Shaw Natural Strata Hex Vein-Cut Limestone-Look Porcelain Tile

Shaw Natural Strata Hex VC (style 593TS) is a hexagon-shaped glazed porcelain tile, 12.6" x 11.02", that shows vein-cut limestone styling on a lightly textured face. Where the rectangular sizes emphasize long, straight lines, the hexagon breaks the vein-cut pattern into angled segments, so a floor gains geometry while keeping the same quiet stone palette. It is the Natural Strata piece to reach for when you want a patterned bathroom floor, an entry, or a feature area that meets the larger tiles.

Best for: Bathroom floors, entries, mudrooms, shower walls, kitchen backsplashes and porch accents.

Colors

• Ivory 00100: ivory hexagons that keep a patterned floor light and understated.
• Cream 00120: warm cream hexes for a soft, natural-stone geometry.
• Grey 00500: gray hexagons that form a crisp, tailored pattern.

Why Choose Natural Strata Hex

• Hexagon shape adds geometry to the limestone look
• Light texture underfoot and a wet DCOF of at least 0.42
• Frost resistant
• Coordinates with the 12x24, 24x24 and 24x48 Natural Strata sizes
• Break strength of 250 lbf or more
• 4.84 sq ft per box, made in Italy

Where to Install

Natural Strata Hex VC suits both floors and walls, and Shaw rates it frost resistant. Use it on bathroom and entry floors, as a shower wall or backsplash, or on an exterior porch. A hex floor can transition to the 24x24 or 24x48 Natural Strata in an adjoining room for a coordinated look.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the Natural Strata hex tile? Each Shaw Natural Strata Hex VC tile measures 12.6" x 11.02", and one box covers 4.84 sq ft.

How do you transition hex tile to rectangular tile? Where Shaw Natural Strata Hex VC meets a rectangular tile, cut the hexes to a straight line or let them step into the larger tile for an organic edge. Using the same Natural Strata color on both sides keeps the transition subtle.

Natural Strata Hex or Natural Strata 12x24 for a bathroom? Shaw Natural Strata Hex VC (593TS) adds a geometric pattern, while the Natural Strata VC 12x24 (591TS) gives a calmer, linear floor. Many baths use the hex on the floor and the 12x24 on the walls.

How much extra hexagon tile should I order? Hexagon tiles create more cuts along walls, so order about 15% extra when using Shaw Natural Strata Hex VC, especially in small rooms.

What grout looks best with hex limestone tile? A matching grout makes Shaw Natural Strata Hex VC look like a single stone surface, while a slightly darker grout outlines each hexagon for a more graphic pattern.
