Shaw Prime Aura 24x48 Matte Large-Format Marble-Look Porcelain Tile

Shaw Prime Aura Matte 24x48 (style 524TS) is a large-format marble-look porcelain tile measuring 23.62" x 47.24", nominal 24" x 48", with a matte glazed finish. It is the biggest and sturdiest matte option in Prime Aura, slightly thicker at 0.354" with a break strength of 380 lbf or more, and its long panels show sweeping marble veining with the fewest grout lines in the collection. It suits large floors and slab-style shower walls, and Shaw rates it frost resistant.

Best for: great rooms, open kitchens, primary bathroom floors and walls, curbless showers, large entry halls and patios.

Colors

• Onyx Crystallo 00110: an airy gray-white whose soft clouding spreads beautifully across 4-foot panels.
• Carrara Abisso 00111: white with fine gray veins that looks close to a Carrara slab at this size.
• Statuario Brina 00150: bright white with bold gray veining that carries long, dramatic movement on big panels.
• Perla Grigia 00500: a pearl gray that makes a large floor feel calm and cohesive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 24x48 tile hard to install? Large-format tile like Prime Aura Matte 24x48 needs a very flat substrate, a large-format mortar with full coverage, a leveling system and usually two people to set each piece. It is best handled by an installer experienced with big panels.

What layout should I use with Prime Aura Matte 24x48? Set Prime Aura Matte 24x48 in a straight stack or with an offset no larger than 33% of the tile length. Larger offsets increase the risk of lippage on long tiles.

How many square feet are in a box of Prime Aura Matte 24x48? Each box of Shaw Prime Aura Matte 24x48 covers 15.5 sq ft. Plan 10–15% overage for cuts and future repairs.

Matte or polished 24x48 Prime Aura: which is better? Choose Prime Aura Matte 24x48 for kitchens, bathrooms and patios where a low-glare, practical surface matters. The Prime Aura Polished 24x48 suits formal living areas and feature walls where you want reflection.

Can Prime Aura Matte 24x48 be used on shower walls? Yes. Prime Aura Matte 24x48 is impervious glazed porcelain, and large panels on a shower wall mean fewer grout lines to clean.
