Philadelphia Commercial Backdrop I 12 ft Textured Indoor/Outdoor Broadloom Carpet

Philadelphia Commercial Backdrop I 12 (style #54641) is a USA-made indoor/outdoor commercial broadloom carpet, 12 ft wide, blending 60% UV PET polyester with 40% UV polypropylene in a clean textured surface and nine deep colors. The fiber blend is what sets it apart from the all-polypropylene styles in this collection, and both fibers are UV-stabilized to resist fading in sun. Every color is dark or mid-dark, from navy and slate to near-black and olive-brown, which helps hide dirt at pool decks and entries.

Best for: Pool decks and cabana areas, covered walkways, outdoor event spaces, building entries, and marina or boat-dock walkways.

Colors

• Forest Night 00300: a very dark green, nearly black in shade, for a planted or wooded setting.
• Artesian Well 00400: a deep slate blue with a gray cast, a natural partner for pool water.
• Iron Blue 00401: a near-black navy that reads as dark charcoal until sunlight brings out the blue.
• Whetstone 00500: the lightest choice here, a mid charcoal-gray with a cool tone.
• Ashes 00501: a dark neutral charcoal, a step deeper than Whetstone.
• Anvil 00502: charcoal with a faint warm, olive undertone.
• Night Time 00503: an almost-black that gives the strongest contrast against light pavers.
• Bracken 00701: a dark olive-brown with an earthy, woodland feel.
• Saddle 00702: a very deep brown-black, warmer than Night Time.

All nine colors are dark, grouped as greens and blues, a run of charcoals, and two deep browns. Order free samples to compare them in your light.

Installation

No approved installation methods appear on the Backdrop I 12 style page. As a general rule, indoor/outdoor broadloom on concrete pool decks and entries is installed by full-spread glue-down with an exterior-grade adhesive, after confirming the slab is clean, cured and sloped to drain. Seams should run in the direction of main traffic where possible. See the Backdrop I 12 spec sheet for the manufacturer's guidance.

Specifier Tips

Around a pool, Artesian Well echoes the water while Whetstone keeps the deck from looking too heavy; use Night Time or Saddle at gates and entries where the most grit is tracked. For narrow connecting paths, a 6 ft indoor/outdoor roll avoids a center seam. Keep the carpet off areas that stay ponded after rain.
