Shaw Point & Verge 8x9 Matte Hexagon Porcelain Tile

Shaw Point & Verge (style 490TS) is a matte glazed porcelain hexagon accent tile measuring 7.87" x 9.06", offered in three solid colors and a Statuary marble look. Its mid-size hexagon sits between a small mosaic hex and an oversized statement piece: large enough to show the shape clearly, small enough to fit backsplashes and powder rooms. Low (V1) shade variation keeps the solids crisp, and the Statuary option adds gray veining for a marble hex. Point & Verge is frost resistant and made in Brazil.

Best for: hexagon backsplashes, bathroom feature walls, shower walls, laundry rooms and exterior accent walls.

Colors

• Solid White 00100: a clean, consistent white for classic honeycomb walls.
• Statuary 00101: a white marble look with gray veins that gives the hex a stone character.
• Solid Grey 00500: a balanced neutral gray that works with both warm and cool palettes.
• Solid Black 00900: a matte black for graphic, modern hexagon designs.

Why Choose Point & Verge

• 7.87" x 9.06" hexagon, a versatile mid-size format
• Matte hexagons rated at a Wet DCOF of ≥ 0.42
• Frost resistant for exterior accent areas
• Low (V1) shade variation for uniform solid colors
• Three solids plus a Statuary marble look that can be mixed
• 12.16 sq ft per box; made in Brazil

Where to Install

Point & Verge is classified as an accent tile, so it is best used on backsplashes, bathroom and shower walls, laundry rooms and feature walls. Outdoors, its frost-resistant rating makes a patio bar front or an entry surround possible too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is Shaw Point & Verge? Shaw Point & Verge is a hexagon measuring 7.87" x 9.06" and 0.276" thick. One box covers 12.16 sq ft.

Can I mix Statuary and Solid White Point & Verge? Yes. All four Point & Verge colors share the same hexagon size and matte finish, so Statuary marble-look hexes can be scattered through Solid White, or Solid Black can form a pattern within Solid Grey.

Is Point & Verge good for a shower wall? Yes. Point & Verge is impervious glazed porcelain with water absorption of 0.50% or less, so it is well suited to shower walls and backsplashes.

Can Point & Verge be used outdoors? Yes. Shaw lists Point & Verge as frost resistant, so it can be used on exterior accent walls with outdoor-rated installation materials.

What grout color goes with Statuary hex tile? For Point & Verge in Statuary, a white or light gray grout keeps the marble look soft, while a darker gray grout outlines each hexagon more strongly.
