Shaw Revel 24x24 Matte Concrete-Look Porcelain Tile

Shaw Revel 24x24 (style 748TS) is an Italian-made matte glazed porcelain tile measuring 23.5" x 23.5" (nominal 24" x 24") with a solid concrete-and-clay appearance in five colors. The square format suits open floor plans: with fewer joints than the 12x24, color spreads across the room much like a poured surface, and squares are simple to lay in a straight grid. This size also lists full performance data, including impervious water absorption, a wet DCOF of 0.42 or higher and a frost-resistant rating, so the floor can continue from a kitchen out to a patio.

Best for: Open-plan living areas, kitchens, large bathrooms, entry halls, sunrooms and patios.

Colors

• Panna 00100: creamy off-white that keeps large rooms bright.
• Oliva 00300: olive-sage green with a rich, grounded tone across a big floor.
• Avio 00400: a calm slate blue, a confident pick for a bath or sunroom floor.
• Cenere 00500: ash gray-brown that disguises dust and pet hair.
• Nocciola 00700: hazelnut beige that bridges wood furniture and stone accents.

Why Choose Revel 24x24

• Large nominal 24" x 24" squares with fewer grout lines
• Wet DCOF of 0.42 or higher
• Impervious porcelain body (0.50% or less water absorption)
• Frost resistant for indoor-outdoor continuity
• Low (V1) shade variation for a smooth, solid field
• Made in Italy

Where to Install

As a frost-resistant floor tile, Revel 24x24 goes on floors and walls inside and out: living rooms, kitchens, baths, entries, sunrooms and patios in cold climates. Exterior installs need a properly prepared, sloped substrate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 24x24 tile good for a small bathroom? Revel 24x24 can work in a small bathroom because fewer grout lines make the floor look less busy, but you will make more cuts around the toilet and vanity. Plan about 15% overage for those cuts.

Can Shaw Revel 24x24 be used outdoors? Yes. Shaw Revel 24x24 carries a frost-resistant rating and impervious water absorption (0.50% or less), which makes it suitable for patios and porches laid over a suitable exterior base.

How slip resistant is Revel 24x24? Revel 24x24 has a wet DCOF of 0.42 or higher, the common benchmark for level interior floors that may get wet. For fully exposed outdoor areas, Revel Textured 24x48 offers a textured surface.

What grout color goes with Revel Avio blue tile? With Revel 24x24 in Avio, a mid-gray grout blends quietly, while a lighter gray outlines each square. Bright white grout can look stark against slate blue.

Does Revel 24x24 need a leveling system? A leveling system is recommended for Revel 24x24, as for most tiles 24 inches and larger, to keep edges even across the floor.

Design Pairing Guide

Panna works with light oak, white plaster walls and black iron. Oliva pairs with cognac leather, brass and cream; Avio with white trim, navy textiles and polished chrome. Cenere suits warm gray cabinets and stainless, while Nocciola looks best with walnut, cane and soft white. Match grout to the tile for the most continuous, poured look.
