Overage: For normal orders we recommend you add at least 8% more than the exact square footage of the room. It can be useful to have extra material that perfectly matches the original in case repairs are needed in the future.

Wicanders Cork GO Originals Accent highlights cork's natural fleck and grain in a warm neutral tone with a more pronounced, textured visual — a floor with genuine visual interest for spaces meant to make a statement rather than fade into the background.

With a genuine cork veneer, 10.5mm (3/8") thickness, and XtraMatt finish, Originals Accent performs beautifully in spaces like an eclectic home office, as well as everyday bedrooms, home offices, and kitchens. The integrated 0.8 mm cork underlay provides natural sound absorption and a warm, comfortable feel underfoot.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Wicanders Cork GO waterproof? No. Cork is naturally moisture- and mold-resistant, but Cork GO is not a submersion-proof product. It performs well in kitchens and normally-used bathrooms, but standing water should be wiped up promptly.

Can Cork GO be installed over existing floors? Yes. The Floating 2G locking system installs over most flat, stable subfloors, including concrete, plywood, and existing hard flooring.

Natural Comfort & Moisture-Conscious Living

Cork is one of the few flooring materials that's naturally warm, quiet, and resilient underfoot — properties that come from the cellular structure of the cork itself. Wicanders Cork GO resists mold, mildew, and dust mites without chemical treatment, making it a strong choice for bedrooms, playrooms, and living spaces where indoor air quality matters. While Cork GO is moisture-resistant and suitable for kitchens and everyday bathroom use, it is not designed for areas with standing water — for those spaces, ask us about Wicanders' fully waterproof Wise collection.

Comfort Underfoot & Easy Installation

Wicanders Cork GO layers a genuine cork veneer, protected by the XtraMatt finish, over 2.6 mm of agglomerated cork, a Corkloc HDF core, and a 0.8 mm integrated cork underlay. This gives the floor built-in acoustic and thermal comfort — no separate underlayment required. Installation uses the Floating 2G locking system, so tiles click together without glue or nails, going in cleanly over concrete, plywood, or most existing hard-surface subfloors.
