Millet is one of twelve colors in Anderson Tuftex Imperial Pecan, a 7.5" engineered pecan hardwood. Pecan balances smooth, quiet grain with more complex figure, so planks can recall pine, white oak or hickory, and no two look exactly alike. A smooth UV aluminum oxide finish lets that natural variation take the lead.

Is Imperial Pecan real hardwood? Yes. It's engineered hardwood: a real pecan surface over a stable layered core, 1/2" thick.

Why does pecan vary so much from plank to plank? Pecan is part of the hickory family, and its grain and color naturally range from calm to bold. Expect high variation (CV3) across a room.

Is it waterproof? No. Like all real hardwood it isn't waterproof, so wipe up spills promptly and avoid full bathrooms and other wet areas.

Can it go in a basement or over radiant heat? Yes. It's approved above, on or below grade and for radiant heat, and can be glued down or floated over a properly prepared slab.

How many cartons do I need? Each carton covers 25.77 sq ft. Multiply your room's square footage by 1.08 to add 8% overage, then divide by 25.77 and round up. For example, a 500 sq ft room needs 21 cartons.
