Frequently Asked Questions

Should I choose 20 mil or 6 mil? Choose 20 mil for busy households, kids, pets and high-traffic rooms. The 6 mil version is a good value for bedrooms and lighter-use spaces. Colors match between the two.

Is Anvil Plus waterproof? Yes. The SPC core is 100% waterproof. Wipe up standing water promptly and follow Shaw's installation guide for wet areas.

Do I need underlayment? No cushion underlayment is needed because every plank has an attached Soft Silence® pad. When installing over concrete, check Shaw's installation guide for moisture requirements.

How many cartons do I need? Each carton covers 27.73 sq ft. Multiply your room's square footage by 1.08 to add 8% overage, divide by 27.73 and round up. A 500 sq ft room needs 20 cartons.

Can I get samples? Yes. Order up to 3 free samples, or call 1-888-976-8166 for a quote.
